medicine, water, knowledge, and much heart.<\/h3>\n<p><strong>On March 20,<\/strong> the group journeyed to <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/kpLHj2AphuxZ9a5V6\">Hudumburung<\/a>, a secluded village near <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/wp-admin\/Kawangu\">Kawangu<\/a> in East Sumba, for an entire day dedicated to <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/primary-medical-care\/\">Primary Medical Care<\/a>. This photo series narrates the experience of that day\u2014moments captured amidst numerous medical procedures, laughter, and storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>We had company. In addition to our <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/team-members\/\">Team Fair Future<\/a>, we were accompanied by <strong>John Kevan,<\/strong> a cherished friend from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.googleadservices.com\/pagead\/aclk?sa=L&amp;ai=DChcSEwik4OHioKCMAxWnt0sFHW98Ow4YABAAGgJzZg&amp;co=1&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjw4v6-BhDuARIsALprm30r6vXjg3954R8mR02Adz9slMbsQGkCQkXbSnpTw5j1-4X16bD58GIaAo7oEALw_wcB&amp;ohost=www.google.com&amp;cid=CAESVeD21WukjRqA2SRETzmXnoxnvS9poHMKwFAdFBSoaU0dXrTxdnOyT3Rhe6US5AoT5A50d4HMbcnLTR6C_tv8jT50QDnnbvlOtENVSYofd-BVz2UDJdk&amp;sig=AOD64_1vqvSqqtGI4n-NigWvkHohhFcm_A&amp;q&amp;adurl&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjO-tzioKCMAxWWSWwGHScKMUYQ0Qx6BAgJEAE\">Rotary International<\/a> in Australia. He has supported our <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/bildung-und-soziales\/water-connections\/\">Water Connections<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">Zero Malaria initiative<\/a>s for <strong>almost three years<\/strong>. This was his third visit with us on the ground in Sumba. Although John is <strong>approaching 80<\/strong>, you would think he\u2019s much younger; He takes on hills and gallops like someone half his age! And his heart? <strong>It&#8217;s even more significant<\/strong>\u00a0than you could imagine.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll also find one of our remarkable\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/kawan-sehat-agents\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kawan Sehat health agents in this village<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yaeT5AHJNug\">Veronika<\/a> guided us through her community: children needing <strong>vaccinations<\/strong>, parents looking for <strong>guidance<\/strong>, and elders <strong>managing chronic pain<\/strong>. We came with a truck carrying <strong>1,000 litres of clean wate<\/strong>r, medical supplies, vitamins, and knowledge to share. Following that were<strong> TB screenings<\/strong>, rapid malaria tests <em>(RDT)<\/em>, treatments for skin infections, fevers, <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/nutrition-food\/\">malnutrition-related issues<\/a>, stomach aches, and care for old wounds.<\/p>\n<p>In total, we treated <strong>over 150 individuals<\/strong>. We distributed medicine, educated on malaria prevention, shared our posters, and taught people how to identify symptoms. It was a mutual exchange of <strong>listening<\/strong> und <strong>Lernen<\/strong>. The day before, thanks to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kooperation-mit-dem-rotary-club-australia-in-east-sumba\/\" target=\"_blank\">John and Rotary,<\/a>\u00a0we purchased nearly\u00a06 million Indonesian Rupiah\u00a0<em>(CHF 321.-)<\/em>\u00a0worth of medicines in Waingapu. It\u2019s pretty simple: without these medicines, we would not have been able to meet all these needs.\u00a0<strong>Two large boxes<\/strong>\u00a0filled with everything required to treat, relieve, disinfect, bandage, test, etc.\u00a0<strong>Thank you,<\/strong>\u00a0John, and everyone else who is assisting us.
