primary medical care in rural areas of eastern Indonesia is impossible mainly due to a lack of health care providers, limited access to health facilities, and no road or vehicle to get there.<\/h2>\n<h3>To reduce the mortality linked to this significant health problem, Fair Future and Kawan Baik have developed a unique, innovative and revolutionary approach. Thanks to the Primary Medical Care program, it is now possible for people living in very rural areas to receive primary medical care via health workers whom we train.<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On <strong>March 28 and 29, 2023<\/strong>, our teams went to the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/bildung-und-soziales\/rebuild-mbinudita\/\">#rebuildmbinudita<\/a> site, where we have worked since 2019. We pre-assessed the teachers and other volunteers participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/project\/primary-medical-care-program\/\">Programm <\/a>f\u00fcr <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/project\/primary-medical-care-program\/\">access to primary medical care<\/a>. Together we review and discuss the more than two hundred cases of various illnesses or injuries treated under the primary medical care program by health workers in this village alone. We also take stock of what will happen next week to accurately assess the supply of new equipment, drugs and medical devices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We also tell them that <strong>three\u00a0<\/strong>will be part of a &#8220;test&#8221; screening program for high blood pressure and, in this case, the &#8220;prescription&#8221; of treatment and an appropriate medical procedure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>A reminder, perhaps on the Primary Medical Care (PMC) program:<\/strong>\u00a0This program, unique in the world, is set up for all the inhabitants of regions where no healthcare centre or medical resources are present or accessible. We put the responsibility on ordinary, unprofessional people to provide medical care, and medicine, care for injuries, and save lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fair Future and <a href=\"https:\/\/kawanbaikindonesia.org\/\">Gute Freunde<\/a> train the teachers of the most isolated schools for several days via a book comprising fifteen modules for the care of sick or injured patients <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/documentation\/projects\/primary-care\/books\/pmc-thebook.pdf\">click on this link<\/a> to see this book we have created from the scratch piece<\/em>). They also become health workers in their isolated and rural villages. And an important person, moreover a woman <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/bildung-und-soziales\/womens-empowerment\/\">#womanempowerment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This pre-assessment is done in a particular context because the participants in the PMC program here are numerous: They are indeed eight, including two teachers. <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/project\/rebuild-mbinudita\/\">Mbinudita<\/a> is an exception in this program because we have been working on it for more than four years.
