This training occurred at our medical-social base camp in <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/notfalle\/rumah-kambera\/\">Rumah Kambera<\/a>, East Sumba.<\/p>\n<p>Initiated, designed, and fully funded by the Fair Future Foundation, the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">#ZeroMalaria Programm<\/a> is a vital, critical, and innovative public <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/primary-medical-care\/\">health initiative<\/a> planned for long-term deployment. Facing an endemic situation of malaria in East Sumba, individual action alone won\u2019t suffice. Collective efforts are imperative. We\u2019ve rallied more than one hundred people across multiple teams responsible for early detection, information dissemination, rural community education, medical care, and necessary treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Among our intervention methods is Indoor Residual Spraying <em>(IRS)<\/em>. IRS involves spraying long-lasting insecticides on the interior walls and ceilings of homes, aiming to kill <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">Malaria<\/a>-carrying mosquitoes. Additionally, we&#8217;ve launched a program to install insecticide-treated mosquito nets in every home.<\/p>\n<p>The most vulnerable to this disease are young children, pregnant women, and the elderly. In our eyes, our volunteers are true modern-day heroes.
