The region <strong>has been endemic<\/strong> to this disease for years, and Sumba is one of the hardest-hit regions in Indonesia and potentially all of Asia. This highlights the enormity of the challenge we face.<\/p>\n<p>Our strategy is <strong>global<\/strong> and focused on <strong>Pr\u00e4vention<\/strong> from an early age. We target children<strong> aged 6 to 12<\/strong> in ultra-rural schools, raising awareness of the dangers of <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">Malaria<\/a> and methods of prevention. This early intervention is essential in a place where <strong>malaria&#8217;s impacts<\/strong> are devastating.<\/p>\n<p>Our approach is <strong>practical<\/strong> und <strong>direct<\/strong>. We have a team of health professionals, laboratory equipment, and essential medicines. We embark on <strong>door-to-door<\/strong> missions across villages, ensuring no one is overlooked or left behind. Our objective is ambitious but crucial: to test, diagnose and educate <strong>100% of<\/strong> village populations.<\/p>\n<p>Once diagnosed, people infected with <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">Malaria<\/a> receive immediate treatment on site, which sets us apart, especially in a region experiencing a <strong>severe shortage<\/strong> of anti-malaria drugs and rapid tests.<\/p>\n<p>Education is the cornerstone of our mission. We educate residents about <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/gesundheitsmedizin\/zero-malaria\/\">Malaria<\/a>, its symptoms, and <strong>Pr\u00e4vention<\/strong> through comprehensive <strong>information<\/strong> sessions in community homes, often in locations only accessible by foot.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, our distribution and installation of<strong> insecticide-treated bed nets<\/strong> and indoor residual spraying form the backbone of our prevention efforts. These methods, along with the educational campaigns and distribution of <strong>Informative Plakate<\/strong> designed by our team, constitute the most effective weapons in our arsenal against <a
