Since <strong>February 15, 2024<\/strong>, we have been here daily, <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/?s=drilling\">Bohrung<\/a> with our machine to find water in one of the world&#8217;s driest regions. It&#8217;s an <strong>exhausting<\/strong> task, both <strong>physically and mentally<\/strong>, in conditions where every drop of water is precious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today, August 9<\/strong>, we are in the <strong>testing phase<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/uber-eine-faire-zukunft\/\">Fair Future<\/a> acquired a <strong>1.5 HP pum<\/strong>p this week to test the three wells we have drilled <strong>since February.<\/strong> The work is far from easy. The roads here are <strong>impassable<\/strong> f\u00fcr <strong>cars<\/strong> and trucks as the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/notfalle\/truck-of-life\/\">Truck of Life<\/a>. However, we managed to bring our <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/kategorie\/notfalle\/truck-of-life\/\"><strong>trucks<\/strong> to the site<\/a>, including our <strong>water tanker <\/strong>truck, because, paradoxically, <strong>much water<\/strong> is needed for drilling. This was made possible by the construction, by hand, of a nearly <strong>eight-kilometre path<\/strong> and by the fortunate timing of the dry season, which allows us to pass through the fields.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently testing the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/de\/?s=wells\">Brunnen<\/a>. Evaluating the results and deciding on the next steps will take another week. The <strong>initial tests<\/strong> show we <strong>must continue drilling<\/strong>, as the water flow remains insufficient.
