Primary Medical Care Program Saves Lives!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This new “Photo of the Day”<\/a> shows you Katrina, a resident of Lapinu<\/a> village<\/strong> and one of the 30 pioneers<\/strong> of the #PrimaryMedicalCare<\/a> initiative<\/strong>. In addition to receiving new tools<\/strong>, medicines<\/strong>, and knowledge<\/strong> on healing techniques, she frequently saves lives<\/strong> by treating many people<\/strong>, mainly children<\/strong>, suffering from diarrhoea<\/a>, dysentery<\/a>, malaria<\/strong><\/a>, dengue<\/strong><\/a>, or various infections for more than two years now.<\/p>\n

Thanks to her unwavering efforts<\/strong>, many who suffered can quickly recover<\/strong> through proper disinfection<\/strong>, prompt health care<\/strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0moral support<\/strong>\u00a0from this\u00a0agent of change<\/strong>. Without a doubt, Katrina has become indispensable in preserving lives within the village of\u00a0Lapinu<\/strong>! It is a lost village with no roads and no access to\u00a0clean water<\/strong><\/a>, electricity,<\/span>\u00a0or medical care<\/strong>. But as you know, we are also working to change that here.<\/p>\n

The #PrimaryMedicalCare<\/a> initiative is approaching its second anniversary<\/strong>. We are entering an expansion phase,<\/strong> introducing substantial innovations<\/strong> that will benefit rural areas for more than a year. This revolutionary program<\/a>, unique in the world<\/strong> in its development and method of care, provides quality primary medical care<\/a> to people living in remote areas<\/strong> inaccessible by road and lacking essential equipment such as medical care, water<\/a>, or electricity.<\/p>\n

This vital<\/strong> service prevents minor injuries from developing into severe infections<\/a> while preventing disease progression. Our organizations, Fair Future<\/strong> and Kawan Baik<\/strong>, actively support our efforts by restocking<\/strong> medicines, training<\/strong> staff and troubleshooting<\/strong> complex cases in collaboration with the incredible women of Kawan Sehat<\/strong><\/a>. Yes, the true heroines<\/strong> are those women of exceptional bravery and strength<\/strong> who demonstrate remarkable character and unexpected abilities.<\/p>\n

We want to emphasize the urgent need<\/strong> for medication<\/strong> in our community. The #PrimaryMedicalCare<\/a> program should continue to expand<\/strong> in remote areas<\/a> where families depend<\/strong> on it. To combat widespread diseases like malaria and other infectious diseases, we need a constant supply<\/strong> of medical supplies<\/strong> and equipment<\/strong>.\u00a0Developing\u00a0new training materials<\/strong>, creating new posters<\/a>, and hiring additional<\/strong> supervisory staff are also essential<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The #PrimaryMedicalCare<\/a> initiative, launched in 2022<\/strong>, has saved many lives<\/strong> in areas lacking medical facilities and practitioners.
