Primary Medical Care Program for Rural Areas – PMC – The Fair Future Foundation’s lifesaving program.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our new “Photo of the Day<\/strong>“<\/a> features Kawan Sehat health agents<\/strong> receiving vital instructions and information<\/strong> from our expert medical professionals. Our efforts are focused on\u00a0the Mahu<\/a> region’s Wairara<\/a> village<\/strong>, which suffers from\u00a0one of<\/strong> the most prevalent <\/strong>malaria\u00a0<\/a>in Southeast Asia. In partnership with\u00a0Fair Future<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kawan Baik<\/strong>,<\/a> we have been conducting\u00a0training sessions<\/strong>\u00a0over several days to equip these dedicated health workers with\u00a0cutting-edge medications<\/strong> and equipment that can significantly enhance<\/strong> their capabilities<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Those residing in this area confront dire poverty<\/strong>, with undernourished youngsters<\/strong> being a common incidence due to extreme malnutrition<\/strong>. The consumption of unclean water<\/strong> and inadequate sustenance also manifests as prevalent infectious ailments, including polio<\/strong><\/a>, tuberculosis<\/strong><\/a>, and dysentery<\/strong><\/a>. We have multiple programs to serve the individuals inhabiting this isolated area, like Primary Medical Care<\/strong><\/a>, the Zero Malaria program<\/a>, and<\/strong> the\u00a0Water Connections<\/a> initiative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This region lacks adequate<\/strong> medical facilities, making the Program Primary Medical Care<\/a> essential<\/strong>. Without it, people residing here would lack access to\u00a0fundamental healthcare amenities<\/strong>\u00a0like wound treatment, medication, bandages, monitoring vital signs such as\u00a0blood pressure<\/a>\u00a0levels, and managing\u00a0fever<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0injuries<\/strong>\u00a0caused by\u00a0snakebites<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
