A Reinforced Program for 12 Months<\/h3>\n
With more than two years of experience<\/strong>, we are starting the third year<\/strong> of this program with a new 12-month<\/strong> phase beginning in August 2024.<\/strong> This program includes significant improvements<\/strong> in patient follow-up, care, and communication between all “Kawan Sehat”<\/a> health agents and our medical teams, notably through the two applications<\/strong> we have developed -the Zero Malaria App<\/strong> and the Kawan Sehat App<\/strong>–<\/em>. The Kawan Sehat<\/a> health workers also play an instrumental<\/strong> role in preventing<\/strong> diseases such as malaria<\/a>, dysentery<\/a>, and polio<\/a> by enlightening<\/strong> families on the principles of hygiene<\/strong> practices<\/strong> and knowledge<\/strong> related to water purification<\/a> and adequate nutrition<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fair Future is one of the few medical providers in East Sumba, where 500,000 people<\/strong> live with severe shortages of food, water, and medical care<\/a>. Our pharmaceutical stocks are currently low, and our Rumah Kambera<\/a> pharmacy\u00a0only has 20%<\/strong> of reserves left. Due to these shortages<\/a><\/strong>, we need to make selections<\/strong>. If we are unable to secure the necessary funding, we will have to thoroughly review the PMC program<\/a> for continuation.<\/p>\n We require funding of CHF. 28,000.-<\/strong>\u00a0to launch the first six-month phase<\/strong> of our upcoming PMC program<\/a>, which will run for twelve months. In many communities, these resources are the only treatment alternatives available. Additionally, the program prioritizes patients’ psychosocial well-being<\/strong> by equipping healthcare professionals with the skills to meet their physical and emotional needs.
