Accessing these communities often requires crossing paths only passable by our\u00a0well-equipped<\/strong>\u00a04×4 truck, for example, the\u00a0Truck of Life<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n However, despite all the obstacles encountered, we are undeterred from fulfilling our commitment to provide safe water<\/a> and continue to build dozens of tanks<\/a> and sanitation<\/a> facilities for these marginalized<\/strong> and isolated<\/strong> populations.<\/p>\n The construction of these\u00a0water tanks<\/a>\u00a0serves as a testament to the strength<\/strong> and collaborative<\/strong> spirit of humanity. Transporting materials to these isolated villages adds complexity, as “roads” are challenging<\/strong> to navigate, and access to resources is limited.<\/p>\n Despite these challenges, the cost of constructing such a reservoir is relatively low\u2014approximately 12 million IDR<\/strong> or around 700 Swiss francs.<\/strong> This modest sum provides clean water to hundreds of people, often more than 50 families, with children constituting about 60% of the beneficiaries<\/strong>.
