Today\u2019s photo<\/a> captures a key moment in the third year of the Primary Medical Care<\/a> program: the certification ceremony of 20 new<\/strong> Kawan Sehat Health Agents<\/a>. Pictured are 19 women<\/strong> and one man,<\/strong> joined by some of their dedicated teachers and trainers, all celebrating after successfully completing their final exams<\/strong> to become certified \u201cKawan Sehat<\/a>\u201d health workers.<\/p>\n These individuals<\/strong> are now equipped to provide essential medical care in their ultra-rural villages, where no roads lead to them and local health facilities are often far away,<\/strong> difficult to access, and either understaffed<\/strong>, closed, or simply lacking adequate<\/strong> medication.<\/p>\n Over the past two years,<\/strong> these workers, who received three additional days<\/a> of training last week, have served their communities by treating the sick and injured to prevent illness<\/strong> and injury<\/strong> from getting worse. Their dedication, volunteer<\/a> spirit, and growing expertise<\/strong> make them invaluable in areas where access to health care<\/a> is limited. These “super heroes”<\/em> have also become vital resources<\/strong> in their respective regions.<\/p>\n These health workers transcend the role of caregivers; they represent the future of Primary Medical Care<\/a> in ultra-rural areas. In places where traditional health care is virtually unavailable<\/strong>, they are the only viable solution, providing trained, organized, and effective care to their fellow citizens. Through our Primary Medical Care<\/a> program, we have equipped them with the tools<\/strong> and knowledge<\/strong> to provide life-saving medical support<\/a>.<\/p>\n We are incredibly proud<\/strong> of their accomplishments and the lasting impact they will continue to have.
