I wanted to share an update regarding the Laindatang<\/a> drilling project (phase 3 of Water Connections<\/a>)<\/em>. Our team has worked tirelessly for over nine months<\/strong> in highly challenging conditions.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, we have decided to temporarily halt the drilling process<\/a> due to technical<\/strong>, geological<\/strong>, and practical<\/strong> reasons. We believe continuing in these harsh conditions with almost no chance<\/strong> of finding a stable water table<\/strong> is futile.<\/p>\n Starting tomorrow, October 5th, 2024, our team<\/a> will shift its focus to building a 100-cubic-meter <\/strong>underground rainwater tank<\/a>. This tank is designed to provide filtered rainwater<\/a> storage to 300 people<\/strong> who currently lack access to water.<\/p>\n Once this essential resource<\/strong> is completed, we will resume our drilling efforts,<\/strong> remaining hopeful<\/strong> and committed<\/strong> to achieving success.
