After a long and complex journey of <strong>nearly six months<\/strong>, navigating customs exemptions, taxes, and import permit challenges, the lamps have finally arrived at <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/fr\/categorie\/situations-durgence\/rumah-kambera\/\">La maison de Kambera<\/a>, our socio-medical base in East Sumba.<\/p>\n<p>Before distribution, each lamp underwent thorough testing. Over <strong>two intensive days<\/strong>, a dedicated team of more than <strong>ten volunteers,<\/strong> alongside Rotary members <strong>Bridget<\/strong>, <strong>Adrian<\/strong>, et <strong>John<\/strong>, carefully inspected, repaired, and registered all <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/documentation\/projects\/SolarBuddy\/doc\/Light-Up-The-Future-SolarBuddy-2025-ENG.pdf\">2,224 lamps<\/a>. Five detailed workshops were held, covering functional testing, labelling, digital registration in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/fr\/programs-medical-apps\/\">SolarBuddy Appli Tracker<\/a>, packaging, and repairs. Every lamp was checked for small faults and given a unique code to ensure ongoing traceability. Storage containers of <strong>50 units<\/strong> were also labelled; once delivered, these containers will stay in villages as water tanks, encouraging hygiene and handwashing in schools.<\/p>\n<p>This strict quality control reflects the precision and dedication typical of <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/fr\/swiss-humanitarian-expertise\/\">Swiss foundations<\/a> like the Fair Future Foundation.
