Tirza, a Dedicated Kawan Sehat Agent, Demonstrates Her Role in Providing Essential Healthcare in Remote East Sumba to Health Authorities.<\/h3>\n

This new “Picture of the Day<\/a>” features Tirza<\/strong>, one of our Kawan Sehat health workers<\/a>, enthusiastically demonstrating her role alongside Ayu<\/a>, the Director of Kawan Baik Indonesia<\/a>. Tirza is equipped with a medical backpack<\/a> filled with essential medicines and supplies, providing insight into her work in the ultra-rural areas of East Sumba.<\/p>\n

During her presentation to an audience of state health officials, directors of local health centres<\/a> (Puskesmas)<\/em>, and our own teams, Tirza<\/strong> discussed the challenges she faces in the field and the impact of her efforts. She emphasizes the importance of collaboration in ensuring everyone has access to basic healthcare<\/a>, preventive advice, and practical tools for protecting themselves from illness and injury.<\/p>\n

Tirza<\/strong> showcases the contents of her backpack<\/a>, explaining how each item supports her daily mission<\/strong> of delivering primary healthcare<\/a> to communities that lack access<\/a> to medical services. Her dedication illustrates the effectiveness of the Primary Medical Care<\/a> program in remote areas, demonstrating that even basic supplies can prevent<\/strong> illness, manage<\/strong> injuries, and provide<\/strong> life-saving assistance.<\/p>\n

As a volunteer<\/a>, Tirza’s<\/strong> enthusiasm for her work is evident. Her commitment to helping others embodies the impact of community healthcare and aligns with Fair Future\u2019s vision<\/a> of empowering health workers to bring about meaningful changes in their communities.<\/p>\n
