Uniting for Change: Fair Future’s Clean Water Access Drive in Lukukamaru – Join Us!
Witness the power of collective action as Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik deliver clean water and hope to the heart of East Sumba.
In East Sumba, the people of Lukukamaru live a life defined by the daily trek for water. The source is 600 meters away, down a dangerous, slippery slope. Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik have joined hands with the villagers to put an end to this perilous routine.
We’ve conducted thorough feasibility studies, readying ourselves for a mission that aims to bring water closer to homes. This isn’t charity; it’s a collaboration. Women and children will no longer have to risk their lives for water that isn’t even clean. Illnesses such as skin diseases and waterborne infections are commonplace, but they don’t have to be.
Bringing water to the village isn’t just about quenching thirst; it’s about fueling education, employment, and health. Access to clean water can break the cycle of poverty and illness that holds this community back. We’ve mapped out the plans, and now we’re rolling up our sleeves to get the work done.
The benefits of this mission will ripple through the community. Children can go to school instead of carrying jugs of water. Women can engage in income-generating activities. Illnesses linked to unclean water will decline. This project will turn a page in the history of Lukukamaru.
We invite you to be part of this journey. With your support, we can change lives in a meaningful, lasting way. Let’s make this vision a reality, not just for Lukukamaru but as a model for other communities in need.
