"One can make a difference; together we create change"
Dear friends, Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear families,
An article published on February 13, 2019, in the famous Swiss Romand magazine "L'Illustré".
In response: I am a huge admirer of the work of Dr. Beat "Beatocello" Richner. It leaves a huge legacy for the children of Cambodia.
It is true that Mr Richner was fortunate enough to be supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (DDC), which is dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is not our case unfortunately, even though I tried with all my might to get their attention.
Therefore, I fight against all of you to make (live) our healthcare programs in Indonesia and I ask myself a thousand questions related to: "How can we survive?" Make sure we do not fall into oblivion that everything we have created can endure over time.
When Mr. Bruno Manser (a Swiss hero too little known), assassinated by Malaysian authorities (Ndla: Indonesia is perhaps also for something...), He was a model for me, in a very different field, what than! I take a lot of risks and often I have to pay attention to myself, my safety, my integrity...
Bruno paid him with his life his will to change things and it is sad, a mystery hovers and will always hover over the circumstances of his disappearance.
For the moment, I'm walking beside her tracks, I think! I only hope that I could enjoy the rest of my years, alive.
... This to answer the journalist of the Illustrated.
