Our approach begins with listening to and <strong>understanding<\/strong> local communities, working <strong>alongside<\/strong> them to tackle <strong>real needs<\/strong> rather than superficial desires.<\/p>\n<p>Durante il <strong>height of COVID-19<\/strong>, we collaborated with over <strong>100 community members<\/strong> to build what has been described as <em>\u201c-The most beautiful school in East Sumba.\u201d<\/em> Perched on a remote hilltop with no access to water or electricity, the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/categoria\/istruzione-sociale\/rebuild-mbinudita\/\">progetto<\/a> faced significant challenges from the start. However, through mutual respect and learning, we <strong>succeeded<\/strong> together. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/team-members\/\">team<\/a> provided technical <strong>Esperienza<\/strong> while the villagers shared <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/?swp_form%5Bform_id%5D=6&amp;swp_tax_limiter%5Bcategory%5D=&amp;s=essential+local+knowledge\">essential local knowledge<\/a>, fostering a two-way exchange that <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/?swp_form%5Bform_id%5D=6&amp;swp_tax_limiter%5Bcategory%5D=&amp;s=empowering+communities\">empowered<\/a> everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>Il <strong>original school,<\/strong> which collapsed on <strong>December 19, 2019<\/strong>, started with just<strong> 20 students<\/strong>. Today, it serves <strong>120 students<\/strong>, and two new classrooms have been added. Together with the village communities, we launched the first <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/categoria\/istruzione-sociale\/water-connections\/\">Water Connections<\/a> program. Now, the entire village has access to <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/?swp_form%5Bform_id%5D=6&amp;swp_tax_limiter%5Bcategory%5D=&amp;s=clean+water+and+sanitation\">clean water and sanitation.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Questo <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/ethical-code\/\">approach<\/a> goes beyond mere construction; it&#8217;s about <a href=\"https:\/\/fairfuturefoundation.org\/it\/?swp_form%5Bform_id%5D=6&amp;swp_tax_limiter%5Bcategory%5D=&amp;s=developing+skills\">developing skills<\/a> and capacities that communities can utilize in their <strong>villages<\/strong> e <strong>beyond<\/strong>. Every stone laid and every lesson learned symbolizes our collective commitment to progress that serves all.
