With the support of Rotary Australia, whose presence in our program signifies their recognition and commitment, this medical-social operation involves nearly a hundred people, significant equipment, materials, and medicines. These include microscopes, thousands of rapid blood tests, medications, generators, disinfection tools, larval elimination tools, and impregnated mosquito nets.

The mission’s primary objective is to eradicate malaria in the Sumba region, safeguarding the lives of vulnerable groups, particularly children and pregnant women. Sadly, many individuals succumb to this disease yearly due to the lack of access to adequate medical care and limited awareness of malaria symptoms.

The tragic loss of fifteen pregnant women within a few weeks due to the absence of medical intervention underscores the urgency of our cause. We pledge to change this reality and ensure that no life is lost to malaria.

Preventing malaria in ultra-isolated villages is no easy task, but Fair Future and all of its friends are working tirelessly to make a difference. By focusing on education, improving hygiene and working with local stakeholders, we offer a lifeline to vulnerable communities.

Our efforts not only prevent the spread of malaria, but also give villagers the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and future generations. It is through such initiatives that we can pave the way to a healthier, malaria-free future for these ultra-isolated villages.

Your support can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by malaria in remote villages like Laindatang, East Sumba. By donating to the Fair Future Foundation’s initiative, you’ll directly contribute to eradicating malaria and improving healthcare access in this region. Join our fight against this deadly disease and help us build a future where malaria no longer threatens lives. Your generous donation has the power to change the lives of countless individuals.

Thank you very much. Alexandre Wettstein from the Foundation’s Medico-Social Camp in East Sumba, Rumah Kambera, Lambanapu, on August 31st 2023.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.22.1″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”#FFFFFF” background_enable_color=”on” width=”100%” width_last_edited=”off|desktop” custom_padding=”0vh||0px||false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” width__hover_enabled=”off|desktop” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”][et_pb_text admin_label=”Title gallery” module_id=”the-gallery-of-this-post” _builder_version=”4.22.1″ _module_preset=”185a3fb0-2550-4b28-82a3-fe2c347e493e” text_font=”Open Sans|800|||||||” text_text_color=”#111111″ text_font_size=”24px” text_line_height=”1em” header_4_font=”||||||||” header_4_font_size=”21px” header_4_line_height=”1em” text_orientation=”center” custom_margin=”3vh||1vh||false|false” custom_padding=”10px||0vh||false|false” text_font_size_tablet=”30px” text_font_size_phone=”22px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|desktop” border_width_top=”1px” border_color_top=”rgba(221,221,221,0.7)” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” background_color__hover=”#ededed” background_enable_color__hover=”on” text_letter_spacing__hover_enabled=”on|hover” text_letter_spacing__hover=”1px” text_text_color__hover_enabled=”off|hover” text_text_color__hover=”#111111″ theme_builder_area=”post_content”]

#ZeroMalaria Program in Laindatang – Images taken by Alex and Elthon form Fair Future

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_code module_id=”the-gallery” module_class=”text-link-fff-blue” _builder_version=”4.22.1″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” custom_margin=”0px||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”0px|0px|0px|0px|false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” theme_builder_area=”post_content”] The Fair Future Foundation, in collaboration with Kawan Baik Indonesia and Sumba Volunteer, has undertaken an extraordinary mission to combat malaria in East Sumba, Indonesia.
