To our beloved friends and backers,
We are pleased to report notable advancements in the #WaterConnections 2024 initiative at Laindatang. Despite challenging circumstances, our team collaborated with the Kawan Baik Foundation and achieved remarkable accomplishments that have positively impacted the nearby community.
Within just a few weeks, we tackled significant obstacles to provide critical aid to Laindatang. Despite limited access to water, electricity and restrooms, our team successfully built four ferrocement tanks for clean drinking water and sanitation systems while simultaneously initiating the drilling process necessary for securing an enduring source of clean water.
These projects have been brought to fruition thanks to our tireless teams and the invaluable support of the villagers. Witnessing noticeable progress smiles on faces, and genuine optimism for a brighter future has been a daily occurrence.
We have initiated educational programs promoting the significance of clean water, hygiene and nutrition. Such programs aid in creating community resistance against various health challenges.
It is important to highlight that the #WaterConnections 2024 program implemented in Laindatang is not only aimed at providing clean water but also at addressing the issue of malnutrition. The program is a significant step towards combating infectious diseases prevalent in the region, such as malaria, cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid fever, and poliomyelitis.
Despite the progress made, there is still a lot to achieve. Your enduring backing is crucial for executing these projects and generating sustainable change in Laindatang. Collaboratively, we can revolutionize lives and construct an improved tomorrow for everyone involved.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who contribute towards enabling our work in one of the most deprived regions on earth. Your kind and unwavering support is truly invaluable.

Note: We would like to inform you that we are present in Laindatang from Monday to Saturday and face many difficulties in our daily lives. One of our major challenges is the lack of access to basic amenities like electricity and the internet. Due to these limitations, we are unable to provide you with more recent updates regularly.
