Fondi trasferiti per il bacino Laindatang idrico

Fair Future is delighted to announce the successful transfer of all funds for constructing a 110,000-liter (110 m³) water reservoir in Laindatang. A total of CHF 12,642.13 (or IDR 251,517,375 at the conversion rate of CHF 1 = IDR 19,976.9) was transferred to Indonesia for the project launch.

This monumental reservoir, scheduled for construction between June and August 2025, aims to provide a large supply of clean, safe water to the communities of Laindatang e Hambarita, where we have been working for the past three years through several programs, including Water Connections, Zero Malaria, e Primary Medical Care.

Most of East Sumba’s ultra-rural villages have long suffered from inadequate access to water, exacerbating health risks such as malattie trasmesse per via acquosa, including polio, malaria, dysentery, cholera, and more.

This project represents a major advancement in the #WaterConnections program and marks a crucial step toward improving igiene, salute, e sustainable living conditions for hundreds of families. Our partner Kawan Baik Indonesia and Civil Engineers Budi e Susanto support this initiative.
