Health Centre Building Materials Take Shape
This architectural rendering shows Building 1 of the future Rumah Kambera Community Socio-Medical Centre in Kawangu, East Sumba. Behind the image, health centre building materials are now being translated into a working document for the construction team, linking each room to proposed floors, paint colours, doors and windows.
Building 1 combines treatment areas, a laboratory and pharmacy with equipment storage and indoor and outdoor workshop spaces. The document specifies matt floor tiles, interior greys and clay tones, black uPVC doors and windows, and rolling doors for the workshop areas. These choices must work with the floor plan and the daily use of the building.
Some details remain to be confirmed. The Building 1 materials document is available here as the contractor prepares the final quotation.
