Fair Future Foundation has sent IDR 18 million, approximately CHF 826, to Kawan Baik Indonesia per un community medical care day in Kampung Matawai Kurang, Bidi Hunga village, East Sumba. The funds will support medicines, medical supplies, logistics and the practical costs of bringing care to the village.
Around 150 residents are expected. The planned day combines examinations, treatment when clinically needed and practical health education adapted to daily life. A Good Health Prescription will give participants one or two realistic actions to practise at home, reinforced through follow-up by Agenti Kawan Sehat.
Supported by Fair Future and Rotary Mandurah, this work begins before the team arrives. Funding makes preparation possible, so consultations can lead to appropriate care and advice families can use. The event is still ahead.
