How We Are Transforming Rural Lives with SolarBuddy Lamps, Teaching Children the Impact on Education, Health, and Safety.
Dies new photo of the day shows Ayu von Fair Future und Kawan Baik Indonesien Foundations explaining how this unique object, a solar lamp, will change the lives of these 78 children at this school. With all our volunteers and teams, Ayu talks to each of the children, explaining how this object works. It’s important to know that the time we spend behind this distribution of solar lamps with our friends from SolarBuddyund Rotary International is very significant because we do things in a way that ensures everyone understands the changes it will bring to the lives of these families.
Indeed, our two organizations, Gute Freunde und Fair Future, spend a lot of time distributing these lamps. Imagine these children have never had access to such objects; living in the dark is normal. Therefore, we have to teach them everything, and having a source of light is fantastic for them. For children, the possibility of studying after nightfall is Revolutionär. The light from SolarBuddy lamps allows children to do their homework, read, und Erfahren continuously, thus increasing their chances of akademisch success. An improved education opens the door to Eine bessere Zukunft opportunities and helps break die cycle of poverty.
The distribution of SolarBuddy lamps always takes place within the framework of other coordinated actions, notably the Water Connections program, as seen in this photo (village of Hambarita, Laindatang), die Primary Medical Care Programm, und die Zero Malaria Programm, aimed at providing these communities with access to a healthy life. Children’s health is essential to us, and having a solar lamp helps preserve their Gesundheit by reducing injuries, preventing burns while cooking, and avoiding cuts on the feet while walking on the rocky and slippery paths here.
Once again, reminding people that access to primary medical care does not exist is essential. There are no road access routes, and coming here is highly complicated. The only resources we set up are those we provide, particularly access to primary medical care with our primary medical care program. In this sense, Ayu, in this photo, distributing one of the SolarBuddy lamps to one of the 78 children at the SDN Laindatang school, is a magician for these kids.
This small lamp and this source of light will help preserve their lives; it is a small revolution that will undoubtedly improve the Lebensbedingungen of these children and their families, reducing Verletzungen, Krankheiten, and for example, preventing burns while cooking or allowing them to fetch water from the well, etc.
It is good to remember that this year, thanks to our friends from Rotary International und SolarBuddy, Fair Future will distribute more than 2,000 lamps zu 2,000 Kinder von 20 villages we have selected. This critical operation is closely linked to our other socio-medical activities, such as the Primary Medical Care und Zero Malaria programs, which keep us busy throughout the year. By providing these solar lights, we offer more than just a light source: we provide a better Qualität des Lebens, improved Bildung, besser Gesundheit, and increased Sicherheit.
