Information close to the work
Access to reliable information matters alongside access to care. This channel lets people follow what our teams are doing in remote communities, in short updates written from the field.
Distance, difficult roads and limited connectivity shape how care is delivered in East Sumba. We use WhatsApp to share practical updates when our teams can connect, and to keep the information easy to read on a phone.
02 / WHAT WE SHARE
Care, prevention and practical work
Updates may cover primary medical care, the work of Kawan Sehat health agents, malaria prevention, maternal and child health, hygiene, clean water and the logistics needed to reach villages. Each message focuses on an action, a situation or a useful observation.
The channel is for factual field communication. It gives context to the work shown in our Primary Medical Care programme et other programmes.
03 / FROM THE FIELD
A current view of the work
The panel beside this article shows the latest field note and ways to explore our work. The WhatsApp Channel carries shorter messages as visits, training and project steps happen. Updates depend on the teams’ work and their ability to connect.
We keep patient details private. A photograph or short message should help explain a situation without turning a person receiving care into a spectacle.
