Our Field Teams in East Sumba
People make every programme possible. Doctors, nurses, coordinators, technicians, communicators and administrators work alongside Kawan Baik Indonesia to keep medical care, clean water, logistics and community programmes moving every day in East Sumba.
The people behind our fieldwork
Local knowledge, professional skills and a team that stays close to communities.
Working together, every day
The team brings together medicine, nursing, nutrition, programme coordination, administration, water infrastructure, logistics, photography, video, design and digital tools. Most of this work happens far from a desk: in villages, schools, health posts, on difficult roads and at Rumah Kambera.
Kawan Baik Indonesia was established in 2019 as an independent Indonesian foundation. Its local knowledge and field presence are essential to the programmes we implement together. Fair Future Foundation provides Swiss governance, funding, medical and technical support, while decisions in the field are made with the people who are actually there.
The portraits below are not a symbolic team page. Each person has a concrete responsibility in programmes that continue throughout the year. Their biographies are part of the history and daily reality of the work.
