MoU Signed to Expand Primary Medical Care in East Sumba

We are happy to announce that, as part of the #PrimaryMedicalCare initiative, we have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the authorities and departments of health, education, and social services in East Sumba.

Ce partnership is poised to significantly enhance nos programme in various villages and regions of East Sumba. To effectively address the increasing demands, we are committed to substantially increasing the number of Kawan Sehat Les professionnels de la santé, which is vital to ensuring access to medical care in rural communities.

This collaboration with our partners on such a crucial initiative underscores the undeniable necessity, recognition, and importance of this program to the tens of thousands of people who benefit from it.

• World Health Organization (WHO): WHO collaborates with local governments and healthcare providers to expand access to healthcare in rural areas, similar to this MOU in East Sumba.
• Partners In Health: Partners In Health works to strengthen healthcare systems in remote regions through community health workers, much like Fair Future’s Kawan Sehat health agents.
• Le Fonds mondial: The Global Fund supports partnerships that expand access to healthcare in low-resource settings, aligning with Fair Future’s collaboration with East Sumba authorities.
• Fédération internationale des sociétés de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge: IFRC works with local governments to provide essential medical services in underserved areas, much like this new agreement to expand healthcare in East Sumba.
• Global Health Workforce Alliance: This organization focuses on building healthcare workforces in low-resource areas, similar to the expansion of Kawan Sehat health agents in East Sumba.
