Impact local : Combattre le paludisme grâce à la prévention et aux soins
Reaching the most isolated communities, Fair Future’s Zero Malaria Program provides prevention, treatment, and education to save lives.
Le Zero Malaria programme, led by Fair Future Foundation, Kawan Baik Indonesia and in partnership with Rotary International, aims to améliorer the lives of ultra-rural communities in Indonesia by addressing the severe threat of maladie de malaria et d'autres Maladies infectieuses.
Our approach to combating this problem starts with prévention. In areas where maladie de malaria is common, we prioritize educating communities, especially children, about hygiene, Eau propre, and good gestion des déchets. These simple practices are essential to prevent maladie de malaria et d'autres Maladies infectieuses. In addition, we distribute insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) and practice Pulvérisation récurrente intérieure à protect families from mosquito bites, significantly reducing malaria transmission.
Despite our prevention efforts, maladie de malaria cases still occur in huge numbers. Our medical teams, with the support of Rotary, conduct extensive screenings using rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) et blood tests to diagnose malaria quickly. We ensure that our teams reach even the most remote villages to provide immediate Traitement et empêcher the spread of the disease.
On the other hand, distribution, continuous education, information sharing and prevention efforts allow communities, families and villages in these ultra-rural areas to recognize the first symptoms of the disease and respond rapidement. It should be noted that the involvement of the Primary Medical Care program for more than three years provides means for rapid screening et Traitement.
In addition, the Zero Malaria programme uses technology through applications that we have custom-designed à collect et monitor health data in these remote areas. This data is essential to monitor the effectiveness of our interventions and ensure rapid care for people in need.
Thanks to the support of our friends in Switzerland, Rotary International, our dedicated Équipes on the ground, and all our volunteers, we can see améliorations in the quality of life without even talking about a reduction in malaria cases because, as you know here, this disease is endemic.
This program saves lives and improves the general health of these communities, allowing children to go to school and adults to contribute to their families and communities actively.
As the fight against maladie de malaria continues, we are confident in making it a thing of the past in these vulnerable regions, thanks to our partners’ support and our teams’ dedication. Every action we take brings us closer to a healthier future for all.
