Quick News – SolarBuddy Distribution Update
We have reached a major milestone | All 24 planned schools have now been visited, and the SolarBuddy distribution programme is entering its final phase. Of the 2,224 SolarBuddy Junior lamps and 24 SolarBuddy Student lamps, just over 200 Junior lamps remain, with zero Student lamps left.
These remaining lamps will be distributed very soon in two or three additional schools beyond the 24 originally planned. This was not expected at the outset. It is the result of careful logistics, field coordination, and a constant on-the-ground presence.
This operation was complex, demanding, and deeply human. It required time, trust, and endurance. Today, we are close to the finish line.
We sincerely thank Rotary Australia and the SolarBuddy Foundation. Without their commitment, none of this would have been possible. Together, we have brought light where there was none, in a concrete, measurable, and lasting way.
We are almost there. And we did it together.
