In the remote villages we serve, providing clean water and health education is not just a matter of survival; it is about restoring dignity by finding effective, innovative and sustainable solutions. Together we make a difference.
Our volunteers and professional teams work with unwavering commitment in these highly remote villages, and reaching them involves navigating rugged roads that can take hours. They pass on their knowledge to residents, school teachers, and administrative staff wherever possible. In the two attached photos, our dietitian discusses nutritious food options and how to maintain a healthy routine using what’s here. Classes are sometimes even attended by animals who listen attentively to instructions on hand washing techniques and personal hygiene practices like cleaning properly, eating healthily and taking precautions to prevent illness. Clean Water and Health Education are essential here.
The posters we designed and placed throughout the village and the region and our efforts to bring clean water via deep drilling have significantly improved the villagers’ daily lives. With access to crucial information on healthy habits like hand washing, hygiene practices finally become achievable. Our actions seem to affect local animals -including dogs- now interested in better nutritional options!
Thanks to the #WaterConnections drinking water network that we have created over the past two years, around 800 people, around 60% of whom are children, can now access fresh and hygienic drinking water. In addition to allowing more frequent washing, these facilities offer adapted toilets that were once an impossible luxury.
From the beginning of this visionary endeavour, we have collaborated with residents to resolve their health issues. Despite progress in combating diseases such as cholera, dengue fever, polio, malaria, dysentery, and stomach-churning diarrhoea, there is still a long way to go to improve their lives.
Our main objective remains to facilitate access to safe and clean water for consumption purposes, respect cleaner eating habits, and guarantee provisions allowing hygiene to be maintained more than once a month in these remote areas. Thank you for supporting us.

Umbu, 14, has lived for eight months with third-degree burns Indonesia should never leave untreated. In East Sumba, delayed care means chronic wounds, severe pain, malnutrition and lost mobility. He needs food, dressings, medicine, physiotherapy, reconstructive surgery and safe transfer now.

The Truck of Life, essential for reaching rural areas, has undergone major upgrades, including new solar panels, a 75-liter vaccine storage unit, and a redesigned layout, turning it into a mobile clinic.
