We are proud to announce that we have successfully manufactured several dozen first aid kits from recycled materials and have affixed the symbol of humanitarian aid, the Red Cross. These first aid kits and several tons of supplies are scheduled to be shipped to the ultra-rural areas of East Sumba starting tomorrow.
These all-inclusive kits contain nearly 100 vital medical items, including wound care supplies, disinfectants, and medicines. Kawan Sehat health agents will use them in the ultra-rural villages that are part of the Primary Medical Care program.
These supplies will provide life-saving assistance to tens of thousands of people who currently lack access to medical care.
- International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC): The Red Cross symbol used on our first aid kits is a global emblem of protection, neutrality, and humanitarian aid. Like the ICRC, Fair Future works to protect and assist victims and promote humanitarian values.
- UNICEF – Healthcare in Rural Areas: UNICEF works to improve healthcare access for children in remote and underserved regions, which connects to your Kawan Sehat initiative of bringing medical care to isolated villages.
- The Global Fund – Malaria Eradication: The Global Fund supports programs to eliminate malaria, which is crucial in regions like East Sumba, where Fair Future operates its #PrimaryMedicalCare and #ZeroMalaria programs.
