Gallery – MbinuDita School rebuilding | 09.09.2020

On December 20, 2019, the two-class school in Mbinu Dita collapsed due to a storm. By rebuilding a new school, the foundation provides continuity of educational activity in Mbinu Dita. Hundreds of children aged 8 to 10 will benefit from this beautiful school. This population is far from any form of civilization. It is therefore essential for them that the school can be rebuilt as quickly as possible. And for the very rural community of this region, this new school will also be a community centre in which the foundation will organize events all year round.

Since mid-August, we have resumed work in Sumba to begin reconstruction work on our school in MbinuDita. Some of them are on the #RebuildMbinuDita site in order to start the works, the foundations, the material orders and also to wait for the material containers which will arrive on September 14 from Surabaya, more than 2,000 kilometres from Sumba. Here are some pictures.
