Wahyu: The Artist Shaping Health and Hope at Fair Future Foundation
Discover the story of Wahyu, an artist on a mission to transform health and social development through creativity.
At the heart of our dedicated team, a new friend has joined the Fair Future Foundation family. His name is Wahyu, and he hails from Jogja, he brings fresh air and creativity to our mission in public health and social development.
Wahyu, at age 25, is a man of multiple talents. After three years of study at the “Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta“, he followed his passion for art in all its forms. His top three artistic loves are Cinema, visual arts, and writing. Additionally, he excels in language learning, particularly in French, and is enthralled by the works of French directors.
Coming from a humble working-class background, Wahyu understands poverty up close. His response is simple yet powerful when asked where he comes from: “From a poor and working-class background but rich in cultures that have shaped me as a man.”
As the “Head of Content Creation – Public Health and Social Development”, Wahyu creates original content for educational purposes, focusing on our major initiatives for preventing infectious diseases in ultra-rural regions.
His artistic talents have already given birth to two crucial posters in the #ZeroMalaria program: “What are the symptoms of malaria?” and “How to protect yourself from malaria“. These essential tools help raise awareness and educate the communities we serve.
But Wahyu doesn’t stop there. He is currently working on innovative concepts and materials, all with the ultimate goal of saving lives, improving the health of the families and communities we touch, and bringing harmony into their lives.
What makes Wahyu even more remarkable is his willingness to go into the field, listen to the needs of the needy populations, and understand their problems firsthand. As a committed artist, he knows that the best stories come from reality.
In his own words, Wahyu tells us, “I will do my best to tell these stories. It’s like telling stories; I will do my best to achieve it in every possible way.”
We are thrilled to welcome Wahyu into the Fair Future family. His creativity, passion, and commitment make him a valuable asset to our mission. We look forward to seeing how he will contribute to positively impacting the ultra-rural regions of Indonesia we serve.
