Ayu Setia Wardani, known as Ayu, is the Director of Kawan Baik Indonesia. An Indonesian journalist, writer, and creative mind, she brings her passion for photography, art, and social justice into every project. Deeply involved with the Fair Future Foundation, Ayu leads major field programs—from rebuilding schools to improving access to healthcare and clean water. She plays a key role in coordinating all operations and is constantly on the ground, ensuring that each initiative reaches those who need it most.

Debora Gunawan, known as Deb, is Javanese and a board member of the Kawan Baik Indonesia Foundation. She also works with Fair Future Indonesia, managing local accounting and financial matters. At 29 years old, Debora brings over 14 years of experience from a renowned financial and tax consultancy firm in Surabaya. Her expertise ensures rigorous financial oversight and transparency across all programs. With a strong background in finance and a deep sense of responsibility, Deb plays a key role in supporting the foundation’s mission with precision and care.

Nurse, head of the paramedical team

Ivonsiani, known as Ivon, is a dedicated nurse who supports the Kawan Sehat Primary Medical Care Agents working in remote regions. With compassion and professionalism, she plays a vital role in delivering healthcare and health education to underserved communities. Ivon is known for her strong connection with the people she serves, building trust and fostering well-being through her empathetic approach. Her presence on the ground is key to improving community health and strengthening the impact of the foundation’s medical programs.

ERWIN UMBU DANGU ELA S.Pd

Primary Medical Care Coordinator

Erwin Umbu Dangu Ela, known as Erwin, is the Primary Medical Care Program Coordinator at Kawan Baik Indonesia. Based at Rumah Kambera in East Sumba, he oversees all aspects of the program, from internal planning to field implementation. Erwin regularly visits each Kawan Sehat health agent to consult on medical cases, distribute essential supplies, and address challenges faced in the field. His work ensures consistent monitoring, coordination, and reporting every three months, playing a vital role in improving access to healthcare in remote communities.

Megitta Ignacia, known as Megi, was born and raised in Bandung and now lives in Bali. Guided by the values her parents taught her—“bless others like you have been blessed”—she finds joy in helping people and contributing to meaningful change. With Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik Indonesia, Megi supports social programs that aim to uplift lives through kindness, teamwork, and purpose. She believes that even small actions, done with heart, can make a real difference in the world.

Web designer, programer, IT manager

Yosa is a web designer with roots in both Bali and Java, and also a local musician passionate about protecting Indonesia’s environment and cultural heritage. As the first employee hired by Fair Future in Indonesia, he has been deeply involved in the foundation’s journey from the beginning. Yosa contributes his digital skills, social insight, and creative energy to many aspects of the foundation’s work. He regularly joins field missions and plays an active role in project decisions, combining technical expertise with a strong sense of community engagement.

Gogon is a visual creator with strong expertise in graphic design, photography, and visual project management. He specializes in art exhibition setups, with a particular focus on space and display concepts. Passionate about social impact, Gogon is deeply involved in voluntary educational projects. He spent two years in Sumba working on community-based initiatives, especially in documentary work that highlights local challenges and resilience. His creative skills support powerful storytelling and education-focused missions.

Alyuprayitno Umbu Makaborang, known as Ino, works with Kawan Baik Indonesia as part of the field communication team. Based at Rumah Kambera in East Sumba, he is responsible for collecting and managing data essential to program activities. Ino also ensures smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners, while providing regular reports on program progress. His work plays a key role in documenting the foundation’s impact and maintaining strong communication across all levels of operation.
Susanti Konda Ngguna

Sumba Team secretary and accountant

Susanti Konda Ngguna, born and raised in Waingapu, East Sumba, is a field administrator and finance staff member for Kawan Baik Indonesia and Fair Future Foundation. With a background in management, she now applies her skills to support field operations and social programs. Working with the foundation has opened her world—introducing her to life beyond home and connecting her with communities in remote areas. Susanti is passionate about helping others, especially in regions lacking clean water and basic facilities. Her work reflects her deep commitment to her family and to the people of Sumba.
Domicianus Dulwahid

Domicianus Dulwahid

Drilling Operations Manager

Domicianus Dulwahid, known as Pak Neni, is the head of drilling operations for Kawan Baik and Fair Future Foundations. Since 2021, he has led efforts to bring clean water to ultra-rural communities by identifying drilling sites and managing equipment. As the team’s clean water specialist, he operates and maintains the drilling machine, ensuring each project is safe and successful. His expertise is essential in transforming the daily lives of families who previously had no access to clean water, helping to create healthier and more dignified living conditions in some of Indonesia’s most isolated regions.

Born and raised in West Sumatra, moved to Depok to go to university and studied architecture. Currently fully committed into making illustrations with watercolour and creating digital contents. Involved in charity since COVID-19 pandemic and hope to spread messages of living together in harmony.

Caitanya Dasa "Cae"

Caitanya Dasa, known as Cae, was born in Tabanan, Bali, and later moved to Denpasar to study IT. During college, he joined the Red Cross and soon after became a volunteer with an interfaith charity foundation, offering medical services, visiting orphanages, and supporting those in need. Now working as a web developer, Cae continues to contribute through digital projects and freelance work. Despite needing a walker or wheelchair for mobility, his spirit of compassion and resilience shines through in all he does—sharing his skills and energy to help others and build meaningful connections.

Anissa is a forest and environmental conservationist committed to working with communities to protect nature and promote shared prosperity. Passionate about culture and biodiversity, her explorations have deepened her understanding of the potential we hold when environment, culture, and well-being are aligned. Anissa also co-authors project reports and works closely with Niluh, Ayu, Elisa, and Alex on financial and strategic matters. With a background in psychology—especially childhood development—she brings a thoughtful, holistic approach to every project. Her insight and presence are a true asset to the team.

Primus Lede is a proud native of East Sumba, where he was born and raised. Deeply rooted in his land and community, he began social work in 2013 through school-based nature and volunteer programs. Since 2019, he has been involved in grassroots initiatives focused on education and economic empowerment. With Kawan Baik and Fair Future, Primus brings his ideas to life—working on building projects, sharing life skills, and helping change mindsets in rural villages. Passionate about equality, he dreams of a future where every family in Sumba has access to education, healthcare, clean water, and electricity.

Elthon Rinaldi Halawulang is from East Sumba, Indonesia, and leads the documentation team at Fair Future Foundation. Passionate about photography, he specializes in capturing Sumba’s natural beauty—especially rare birds—through patience and deep observation. Elthon also enjoys sharing stories about his island’s culture and traditions. With years of experience in medico-social projects, he now documents fieldwork, collects demographic data, and supports research for community programs. His work brings visibility to the realities and resilience of Sumba’s most remote populations.

Wahyu, originally from Yogyakarta, now based in Bali, is an illustrator with a background in animation. Inspired by stories, history, mythology, and the world around him, he brings creativity and depth to his work. At Fair Future Foundation, Wahyu focuses on communication and content creation—crafting visual narratives that inform, educate, and support fundraising for field programs. His approach is rooted in storytelling, using art as a tool to connect people and amplify the foundation’s mission. With a passion for culture and meaning, Wahyu gives voice to powerful humanitarian stories.

Indira Larin Natasha Bramono, known as Indi, is from Malang, East Java. A film student with a passion for storytelling, she brings creativity and a strong sense of independence to everything she does. Indi recently joined the Fair Future Foundation team, where she’s eager to grow, contribute, and bring her energy to meaningful projects. With a playful spirit and sharp wit, she’s discovering the balance between work and passion, embracing new experiences with openness and a desire to make a difference.

Niluh is from Bali and works as an accountant—but her heart lies far from numbers. Passionate about traditional markets, she loves exploring fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers, finding joy in the beauty and human connection of local trade. In her free time, Niluh dedicates herself to embroidery and knitting, hobbies she shares on her Instagram account @mimpiby.niluh. This space is a creative outlet for everything she loves—small, joyful projects that she hopes can bring happiness to others too. Grounded and generous, Niluh adds a thoughtful and colorful touch to every part of her life.

As a medical advisor to the Kawan Sehat Primary Medical Care Agents, she ensures the quality and effectiveness of community-based healthcare services. Passionate about serving her homeland, Dr. Narni finds purpose in supporting those who have limited or no access to medical care.

Elma plays an essential role in supporting Fair Future Foundation’s health programs, contributing to the long-term well-being and resilience of the communities we serve.

✝ In Memoriam – Nofi, Advocate for Education and Health in East Sumba

Nofi passed away in January 2023 at the age of 27, after a brave battle with Rhino-Pharyngeal cancer. Since joining us in 2019, she played a vital role in our programs in East Sumba. Passionate about education and sustainability, her dedication and spirit touched countless lives. Nofi’s presence remains deeply rooted in our work—her legacy continues to inspire and guide us toward a fairer future. She will always be part of our mission, our team, and our hearts.
