16 health cards to carry care beyond the consultation

A consultation should leave people with practical steps they can use at home. Our 16 illustrated health cards in Bahasa Indonesia help patients choose one or two actions with a health worker, covering prevention, daily care and warning signs. The complete PDF is now available.
What can a patient take home from a consultation and put into practice? Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik Indonesia have developed 16 illustrated health cards in Bahasa Indonesia for Primary Medical Care and Kawan Sehat.
Each card invites the patient to choose one or two actions with a health worker: making drinking water safer, washing hands with soap, reducing smoke exposure, preventing malaria or caring for a wound. The cards also highlight warning signs and when to seek medical help. They support prevention and daily care alongside treatment when it is needed.
Based on an original idea from Flavie Wettstein, an emergency nurse at CHUV in Lausanne, the set was developed with our medical team. Its first use is planned for the community medical care day on 24 October. The complete 16-card PDF is available in Bahasa Indonesia.
