Empowering 2,000 Families with Solar Lights in East Sumba

Quick News: In 2024, we're working on distributing 2,000 SolarBuddy solar lamps to 2,000 children and families, and 2,000 homes across East Sumba. These villages and schools have no electricity. This project, in collaboration with SolarBuddy, Kawan Baik and Rotary International, will bring light to homes and schools.

We Fund CHF 5,953 to Support SolarBuddy Lamp Distribution in East Sumba

20.03.25 - Today, Fair Future donated CHF 5,953 (IDR 111M) to fund the distribution of 2,250 SolarBuddy lamps across 24 ultra-rural schools and Village in East Sumba. This includes all related logistics to bring light where there's never been any.

Free Medical Day: 150 Treated, Screenings and Vaccinations Provided

20.03.25—Fair Future held a free medical care day in Kawangu. Over 150 people were treated, TB and malaria screenings were conducted, and young children were vaccinated. We also led health education and prevention efforts. It was a powerful day!

Empowering 2,000 Families with Solar Lights in East Sumba

In 2024, we are going to complete an essential task in East Sumba that we are currently working on. We aim to distribute 2,000 SolarBuddy solar lights to over 20 villages and schools in 20 sub-districts. This project will significantly benefit approximately 2,000 families and up to two thousand households in areas currently without electricity.

We have formed strong partnerships with organizations such as Rotary International and SolarBuddy to ensure the success of this initiative. This collaboration will illuminate rocky paths and provide enough light for children to continue studying at home after dark. More information soon.
