The Urgent Needs category of Fair Future Foundation highlights the critical and immediate needs of families in ultra-rural Indonesia.
These stories shed light on the pressing demands for medical care, clean water, nutrition, and essential resources in areas facing severe challenges. By sharing these urgent issues, we call on partners and supporters to join us in providing the practical solutions and life-saving support needed to build healthier, stronger communities.
To make it simple and short, we urgently need a lot of medicines (see the list attached in the post) and sanitary equipment such as antiseptics, dressings and other small miscellaneous equipment. Indeed, friends, all our stocks are almost finished because we have prescribed or used everything, which is a good thing.
Fair Future issues an intense red alert linked to the case of malaria, which is reaching a critical level here in East Sumba, Indonesia. For weeks, thousands of malaria cases have been recorded here in East Sumba. This figure is nevertheless to be taken conditionally because, in many villages, people do not have an identity card or a family book…
Extract and Description of this short News | As part of the departure of the Truck of Life – week #2 of December 2022 – for Sumba East and our Medical-Social Base Camp, we still have a little space available to load equipment such as Medical equipment, medicines and clothes for children and newborns that you no longer use.
As part of the project for access to primary medical care for children in rural areas of eastern Indonesia, the foundation needs you to balance its budget. We want to be able to load our medical truck as much as possible in order to reduce logistics costs.
Linked among others to the Deep Well Drilling program (Water Connections), we need to acquire a small second-hand truck, to transport our drilling machine to the sites from our base camp in Sumba East. But also all building materials (sand, cement, bricks, scrap metal etc…).
