We take immense pride in announcing a significant milestone: the design, construction, and improvement of the access road to Laindatatang village in East Sumba. This ambitious infrastructure project made possible through the robust collaboration between Fair Future and Kawan Baik foundations, owes its success to the local villagers’ unwavering commitment and wholehearted involvement. Their dedication deserves our deepest gratitude for the time and effort they invested.

We have paved the way for a brighter future in Laindatatang through unwavering dedication and collective efforts. This road symbolizes our unwavering commitment to community well-being and opportunity.

Our team exhibited unwavering tenacity, relying solely on their physical strength to complete this monumental task. The final phase involved repairing a challenging 35-meter stretch of rough road, which posed significant obstacles to vehicles carrying heavy loads or 5,000 litres of clean water. Despite these challenges, our mission was a resounding success. The improved accessibility and safety of these isolated villages are direct outcomes of our team’s dedication and perseverance.

We want to emphasise again the indispensable role the local villagers played during this final phase. Our heartfelt thanks go to the men, women, and even children who generously gave their time made sacrifices, and invested their energy to bring this vision to life. Thanks to their courage and unwavering determination, access to the village is now safer and more accessible, greatly benefiting the many families residing in Laindatatang – Mbatakapidu, Sumba Timur.

We have the immense honour and privilege of announcing a particularly significant accomplishment: the successful design, construction, and improvement of the access road to Laindatatang village In East Sumba. This massive infrastructural development project carried out thanks to the fruitful alliance between Fair Future and Kawan Baik foundations, would not be a success without the dedication and fervent involvement of the villagers. They deserve our sincere gratitude for their time and efforts invested.

Through unwavering dedication and community collaboration, we’ve paved a path to a brighter future in Laindatatang. This road symbolizes our commitment to well-being and opportunity.

Our team committed with unfailing tenacity, using only their raw strength to accomplish this monumental task. The final phase encompassed repairing a 35-meter section of highly rough road, a considerable challenge for vehicles transporting heavy loads or volumes of 5,000 litres of clean water. Despite these obstacles, our mission was a success. The ease and safety with which vehicles can now access the most remote villages directly result from our commitment and perseverance.

As we start a new year, we are excited to share improvements to our Primary Medical Care program, which offers critical assistance to remote areas with limited health care access. Your interest supports our Kawan Sehat health workers' mission, providing essential treatment to those in need. The program empowers local health workers, mainly women, to deliver life-saving care, treat illnesses, and prevent diseases in remote areas.
