Water connections program – Drilling deep wells in the eastern regions of Indonesia.
As part of its programs for access to better health and its “Water Connections” action, Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik Indonesia are launching an official tender for the purchase of a hydraulic deep well drilling machine.
First of all, we would like to acknowledge and thank the generosity of the person who allowed us to take this step of calling for an offer for the purchase of such equipment, which will take the foundation into a new dimension. Indeed, such a machine is a significant investment and almost impossible for us in normal times. But sometimes miracles happen when you least expect them.
Therefore, we inform you that we wish to acquire a deep well drilling machine. This machine will be intensively used for our access to clean water programs, which we are developing in favor of the villages and communities of Sumba East. The main goal of drilling deep wells is to give access to clean water, and to reduce significant infant mortality, congenital problems, sometimes serious illnesses related to the consumption of unclean water. And therefore improving living conditions, creating economic opportunities, and consequently creating wealth and mental well-being.
As you know, contaminated water and poor sanitation are linked to the transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and poliomyelitis. Absent, inadequate or poorly managed water and sanitation services expose people to avoidable health risks. This is why Fair Future has been drilling wells for a long time in order to remedy this as best as possible.
Specifications required for this Deep Drilling Well Machine
- Able to drill more than 100 meters deep;
- Easily transportable, a system with wheels or towable for example;
- Hydraulic machine;
- Extremely resistant;
- Easily removable in case we have to take the machine to a place without a road;
- One drill head included with one replacement;
This machine will have to be transported to our base camp located in Waingapu, Sumba East.
If you are interested in working with the foundation and can provide this type of equipment while providing quality, please contact us by email here.
