Fantastic news! We’ve officially secured tax-free approval for importing 2,224 SolarBuddy lamps from Australia. This historic milestone makes Fair Future the first NGO to achieve duty-free humanitarian imports in Indonesia. These lamps will soon light up villages in East Sumba. Fair Future Foundation is launching a vital malaria study in Umalulu, one of the most affected regions in East Sumba. This research will assess infection rates, risk factors, and healthcare needs to build an effective malaria response, ensuring long-term health solutions for this remote community.

In 2024, Fair Future’s PMC Program significantly improved ultra-rural communities by offering essential healthcare services, education, and life-saving solutions. This initiative addresses the severe shortage of medical resources in remote areas with limited access to basic health facilities and trained personnel.

Our 2023 accounts have received official approval from the Board, our auditor, the Canton, and the Swiss Confederation for the 15th year in a row. The three-day training session for 20 new Kawan Sehat agents concluded with the presentation of official certificates endorsed by Fair Future, Kawan Baik, and local authorities. The comprehensive program covered over 20 medical topics to equip these agents with crucial skills needed to deliver essential care in remote areas lacking access to healthcare services.
