Fair Future Foundation and Kawan Baik Indonesia lead the way in disaster response, offering customized assistance to address each event’s distinct challenges. Our socio-medical teams are ready to provide essential support when dealing with malnutrition, famine, or medical emergencies, and they are prepared to provide critical support.
With the extensive Medico-Social Base Camp in East Sumba—the largest facility of its kind in the area—we are prepared to deliver rapid and effective relief efforts. The Truck of Life is our reliable ally in accessing remote areas, and deftly traversing challenging landscapes to provide essential equipment, food, and medical supplies. We initiate our efforts with existing community structures in the face of disaster. Local authorities and residents work alongside our dedicated teams of medical experts, logisticians, and volunteers to ensure swift aid delivery.
Our efforts go beyond immediate relief, ranging from supplying ready-made emergency kits to constructing infrastructure such as 5,000-litre reservoirs for clean water. We deliver medical care directly to the most severely impacted regions by treating hundreds of injuries, administering crucial medications, and distributing essential resources necessary for survival. Since the catastrophic event of April 2021, we have relentlessly attended to thousands of patients, demonstrating that resilience and unity can conquer even the most challenging obstacles.
