We're building dozens of ferrocement tanks in the remote region of East Sumba, each capable of holding over 5,300 litres of clean water. Local families participate in their construction, ensuring long-term sustainability. Access to clean water prevents disease and transforms daily lives. Join us as we develop solutions.
What is this audio podcast about? Following a direct request from the authorities and the Government of East Sumba, we were asked to help 40 families who have absolutely no access to water, even in very small quantities. We went there and were able to meet the villagers during a very interesting session of nearly two hours. Together, we took stock of the situation, and established the existing situation, in particular the fact that the water distributed by the PDAM has not been arriving for more than five years in the houses and the village. The first secretary of the Regent of East Sumba was present with us and a detailed report will be provided to him as soon as possible on what can be done. Thank you so much for your interest Kawan.
