Hundreds of patients in remote villages receive care each week from our Kawan Sehat health workers trained in the Primary Medical Care Programme. In the absence of doctors or clinics nearby, these trained women provide lifesaving care for fevers, malaria, wounds, and infections. Your support helps keep this lifeline alive.

Free Medical Day: 150 Treated, Screenings and Vaccinations Provided

20.03.25—Fair Future held a free medical care day in Kawangu. Over 150 people were treated, TB and malaria screenings were conducted, and young children were vaccinated. We also led health education and prevention efforts. It was a powerful day!

Building the Future of Rural Communities Together: A Unified Vision for Real Needs.

Building Together | Collaboration is the foundation of all Fair Future and Kawan Baik projects. By partnering with local communities, we aim to address genuine needs, exchange knowledge, and drive meaningful change that will benefit future generations.

This gallery showcases the extraordinary process of constructing a school, specifically Mbinudita School in East Sumba (for the Rebuild Mbinudita Program)—a project that embodies the collaborative philosophy of Fair Future and Kawan Baik. Our approach begins with listening to and understanding local communities, working alongside them to tackle real needs rather than superficial desires.

During the height of COVID-19, we collaborated with over 100 community members to build what has been described as “-The most beautiful school in East Sumba.” Perched on a remote hilltop with no access to water or electricity, the project faced significant challenges from the start. However, through mutual respect and learning, we succeeded together. Our team provided technical expertise while the villagers shared essential local knowledge, fostering a two-way exchange that empowered everyone involved.

The original school, which collapsed on December 19, 2019, started with just 20 students. Today, it serves 120 students, and two new classrooms have been added. Together with the village communities, we launched the first Water Connections program. Now, the entire village has access to clean water and sanitation.

This approach goes beyond mere construction; it’s about developing skills and capacities that communities can utilize in their villages and beyond. Every stone laid and every lesson learned symbolizes our collective commitment to progress that serves all. The images in this gallery remind us that lasting impact comes from collaboration, mutual growth, and ensuring that every action aligns with the true aspirations of those we support.
