Water on the Way…
9 active health campaigns
After years of walking to find dirty water, villages like Laindatang, Hambarita or Mbinudita can now access clean water from community reservoirs they built themselves. Clean water reduces diarrhea, skin infections, and fear. This is a true reflection of dignity in daily life.
The Kawan Against Malaria program (formerly Zero Malaria) works to drastically reduce malaria cases in ultra rural areas. With local health authorities and Kawan Sehat agents, we diagnose and treat patients, distribute long lasting bed nets, spray houses, monitor data, and teach families how to protect themselves. This prevents severe anemia, dangerous fevers, and deaths especially among children and pregnant women.
The Kawan Against Malaria category of Fair Future Foundation focuses on our dedicated efforts to fight malaria in ultra-rural Indonesia. These stories showcase how we provide mosquito nets, conduct education campaigns, and strengthen community-based malaria prevention and treatment. Through partnerships and local collaboration, we bring life-saving solutions to areas most affected by malaria, helping protect families and reduce disease.
