Today, at the Water Connections project site in Laindatang, we had the pleasure of meeting the 80 children from the local school with whom we have worked for over two years.
Each child received a bamboo cotton t-shirt designed by Eben, a talented young artist from the village whom we have already told you about many times and who made this unique t-shirt for the foundation’s 15th anniversary at our request. I encourage you to take a look at Eben’s drawings here.
The design symbolises our Water Connections initiative, which includes installing ferro-cement water tanks and toilets and providing clean water to the entire community.
These children were delighted, not only because they now have access to clean water and proper sanitation but also because they received a brand new, unique T-shirt designed by one of their classmates.
Thank you so much for thew. Alex
