Quick News – Laindatang Water Reservoir Report Now Available
With some delay, we are pleased to make the full Laindatang Water Connections Phase IV report publicly available. Between May and September 2025, a 114,500-litre reinforced-concrete rainwater harvesting system was constructed for Laindatang and Hambarita, providing secure access to clean water for more than 200 people and a local school.
The reservoir is now full after the rainy season, confirming the technical reliability of the structure and filtration system. In the coming dry months, this stored water will supply families who otherwise have no safe source beyond the smaller tanks we previously built.
This project is one of the largest community-managed rainwater systems in the region where we operate. Thank you to every donor and partner who made this possible. We wish you a meaningful read.
