Logistics is medicine in remote regions where healthcare access depends on transport, supply chains and field operations. Trucks, motorcycles and medical deliveries determine whether diagnostics, vaccines and treatments reach isolated communities in time to save lives.
Health Without Infrastructure Fiction describes a simple reality in ultra-rural East Indonesia. When roads, water, and electricity are absent, diagnosis is delayed and preventable disease becomes lethal. Infrastructure is not secondary to healthcare. It is healthcare.

The Truck of Life has arrived at Rumah Kambera, East Sumba, after three days on the road, carrying medical supplies, training materials, and medicines for Kawan Sehat health agents. This equipment will help care for tens of thousands of people in remote areas with no medical access. Thank you for making this possible!
We’ve received the latest batch of pharmaceuticals, disinfectants, bandages, and medical equipment—hundreds of kilos worth—used in our #PrimaryMedicalCare program and infectious disease prevention efforts, especially malaria. The first medicines are arriving, and we’re sorting and packing them. In a few days, we’ll transport them to East Sumba with our two fully loaded trucks. A major change for us: After years of effort, we’ve acquired a new Isuzu Traga truck, thanks to two generous donations. This Euro4-compliant truck will transport heavy construction and medical equipment, as well as a fixed 2,000-liter water tank to rural communities without access to water. A game-changer for our work.
We are in the process of acquiring a second-hand truck for our upcoming field activities to transport medical supplies and construction materials. This vehicle will play a vital role in supporting our ongoing socio-medical initiatives.
